Today we find out what Jersey Politicians are planning to spend our money on next year. The first draft of Jerseys budget for 2015 has been published. Millions will be spent on a new sewage treatment works, improving schools and a new hospital. But, a pint of beer or cider will cost an extra 1p, a litre of fuel will also cost an extra 1p and a packet of cigarettes will increase by 22p if the Treasury Ministers duty proposals for 2015 are approved when they are debated in September.
