Today we give thanks in our prayers: For the Trent and Dove circuit at the beginning of the new circuit for taking some brave decision about future mission and being positive about working together, recognising that circuit cultures are different but working through the difference to creat something new. We give thanks for 3generate meeting this weekend and pray for all the young people, for Tamara the youth president and all those involved to make it happen and that everyone has a great and blessed time. The Philippines has never been far from our news this week and we give thanks for the 30 million raised by the general public and 50 more million given by the government, praying that the money will help repair devastated homes and go someway to helping rebuild peoples lives. In a week when the general public have raised 30 million for the emergency disaster appeal for the Philippines its staggering that the Children in need total of 31 Million is up on last years figure and so we give thanks for all the children and families that the money will help to have a better quality life. Lord in our mercy hear our prayer Amen.
