Today we reached our first milestone of breastfeeding for 6 months exclusively. It wasnt easy..it didnt start up right. Baby refused to latch on initially. .later only managed to latch on one side..then slowly both side..baby also suffered breastfeeding jaundice. Once she mastered the skill of latching..she started to reject bottles. But we still carry on...today...she takes in 4 bottles of ebm daily and DL the rest of the time. I have a stash of 53 bottles ebm in the freezer...although 6 months may seems very short compared to those who breastfeed up to 2 years old..I am already very satisfied as for now. So...gambate all mommies...we all can do it...
