Today we remember St. Apolonarius. I was once giving a ride to a Neo-Nazi and he was explaining to me his belief that Christianity was a well organized Jewish conspiracy and that the real Son of God was a guy named Apolonarius who lived shortly after, did similar healing miracles, and was killed violently. Little did he know, or I at the time, that he was speaking of a canonized Saint who was an early bishop, believed to be consecrated by St. Peter who was martyred for proclaiming the Godhood of the Christ.
