Today we reported out of conference the Water Resources Reform and Development Act, which expands local control and input in important water infrastructure projects across our state. The critical improvements we have accomplished with this bill will not only make important safety improvements and reduce federal red tape, but will help maintain the economic momentum that is reviving so many Oklahoma communities. Together, Rep. Markwayne Mullin and I fought for programs and projects that will address the water resource and infrastructure problems our state has been facing. I look forward to final passage of the bill in the Senate and House of Representatives in the coming weeks.
