Today we shot sunrise at Bandon Beach, right behind our hotel, which was situated on a bluff. The sky was clear, but the marine layer turned beautiful shades of pink and blue as the sun rose from behind us. We traveled to Cape Blanco Lighthouse today, with nary a cloud in the sky (not the kind of sky photographers love). We returned to Bandon Beach for a lunch of Umpqua River ice cream, which Norma and I loved. The entire bus got ice cream. Now were in a hotel in Coos Bay, and later were going downtown to photograph old cars, because its Cruise the Coos weekend.
