Todays Help Desk: “Problems cannot be solved by the same level of thinking that created them.” .....................Albert Einstien As we approach the threshold to a new year, it saddens me that so many people will once again with good intentions come up with resolutions hoping to create something different than what they are experiencing. They are using old thinking to attempt to create a new reality! Well it will not work. If you want something different you have to start with your thinking not your doing. Getting a grasp on what thoughts you allow to run rampant in your mind, thoughts that are contrary to what it is youre desiring to create or extinguish is key. Take sometime and examine what beliefs you have that are motivating your choices, asking yourself are they valid, are they inspiring enough that your actions match them? A bigger challenge is the auto-cognitions that just seem too pop up like cookies on a computer and set you off in thinking, feeling or actions. These need to be cleared from your subconscious. There are things you can do to reset your brain, belief system and subconscious programming. This my friend is where the real game of life is being played... Its and inside game going on in your mind. Are you loosing or winning? Just as Einstein said, it will take another level of thinking to get different outcomes, yes you have the ability to think differently, with the assistance of a good coach you can do it in a more efficient and expeditious manner. So instead of wasting time writing down resolutions that within 60 days will be collecting dust, resolve to seek out the assistance of a good coach, one who specialises in empowering clients to change their world by changing their thoughts! Hmm, think about that! Happy New Years from Gregory A Stanton, Transformational Life Coach, Catalyst Coaching, Counseling and Consulting, LLC
