Todays High Tech Cars Automotive technology is becoming more and more complex. Some people think in the future cars will be driving themselves. There are many safety technologies being used called Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) which are the beginnings of self driving cars. You have probably seen some advertized in TV commercials. Forward collision warning systems, blind-spot detection systems, Pedestrian-detection systems and parking assistance just to name a few. All of these ADAS help reduce accidents and aid the driver. These systems work a little differently for each car maker, they can malfunction and are not a driver replacement...yet.
