Todays News: I didnt catch all of the program about Stephen Hawking but Im personally and professional very aware of the problems hes faced for so many reasons. I think that he/his life would have been very well portrayed well by old friend Robin Williams or Daniel Day-Lewis among other actors Ive known. Ive investigated, covered, reported on black holes and space for so many decades because family, friends were involved in the very first NASA programs. I knew the original American astronauts and interviewed many of the international ones. I also was involved with the earlier Paraolympics events as Ive investigated ways to help so many people that Ive known or met whod faced such adversity with grace, determination, the overwhelming desire to conquer and live full lives. Ive often stated that those who shared their stories with me were the reasons I could cope so well with adversity.
