Todays Post Daniel 12:1-3 (NIV) At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people--everyone whose name is found written in the book--will be delivered. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. Philippians 2:13-16 (NIV) ...for it is God who works in you, to will and to act according to His good pupose. Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault, in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like the stars in the universe, as you hold out the Word of life, in order that I may boast on the day of Christ, that I did not run or labor for nothing. Dear Brothers and Sisters, There will come a time when we will come face to face with our Savior, Redeemer! He will come again...and He will judge both the living and the dead. Because of this, we must stand firm in His truth. I dont know about you, but I long to hear those words, Well done, good and faithful servant. He didnt promise us that it would be easy, in fact, just the opposite. But, Dear Friends, nothing else could be more worth it! In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. (2Timothy 4:1-4, NIV). Those who have been faithful, throughout time, will shine again, for all eternity, in His presence! Can you, or I even begin to imagine the glory??!!! We will rise, and be transformed!! But our citizenship is in Heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, The Lord Jesus Christ, who by the power that enables Him to bring everything under His control, will transform our lowly bodies, so that they will become like His glorious body. (Philippians 3:20-21, NIV). Several years ago, the band, Mercy Me, wrote a song entitled,I Can Only Imagine. Listen to it, if you have time! I encourage each and every one of us to shine like the stars in the universe! Let us be the living image of the Living God! youtu.be/N_lrrq_opng Let us pray: Heavenly Father, Surround us with Your presence today. Empower us to stand firm in Your truth...Your love and mercy. Let us shine so bright, that the light of Your love draws others to You. Father, we know that the worlds itching ears only want to hear that which fulfills its fleshly desires...the lies that fuel its selfish quest. Let us be an example of what is so much better in You. Open their eyes to see the radiance of eternity. Let their imaginations soar beyond the earthly gratifications that rust and fade away. Lord, may even just one person be filled with Your unexplainable joy, today! Amen, and Amen. In Him, Pastor Anne
