Todays Pumpkin Scones. Apt smells wonderful and they turned out light and fluffy. In the close up you can see the buttery layers created my making sure the butter is cold and is cut into the flour. Instead of rolling the dough, I use a pat down and fold method which is what causes the layers. I prefer a roughly triangular shape to a scone that is rolled and cut with a cutter. I will be happy to share the recipe but only with permission from the amazing cook that shared this (my favourite scone recipe) with me...................Sylvia Ellsworth!!!!
