Todays Tip: #PawLicking & PawChewing are common problems in dogs. This activity is often a result of allergy. The pet will initiate licking but the owner will see no actual lesions present. Over time, the paws can become red and irritated. The feet have lots of fold areas (claw folds at junction of nails and toes, between the toes, and between toes and pads) that can make the feet a perfect spot for secondary infections. Yeast and bacteria will often overgrow in these regions and perpetrate the licking.
