Todays WTF -- A Chief of Police in some backwards town in Gerogia shot his wife in the back at four in the morning while she was sleeping. He said it was an accident that the gun was just there and it went off when he tried to move it. Oh and by the way, he was sleeping when this happened. And the gun was on the bureau next to the bed or was on the bed. I guess he cant quite remember since he was sleeping. And it wasnt really his wife. They had been divorced and she just moved back in. On the 911 tape of his emergency call he has less emotion than if he were ordering a pizza. Anyway, thats his story and he is sticking with it. So what has happened to this guy you may ask? Terrible consequences so far. He has been put on paid administrative leave. So you shoot your wife and you get a paid vacation while the police investigate whether any charges will be filed. I somehow believe that this responsible officer of the law will not be charged. I hope I am wrong.
