Todays album is Hypocrisys Osculum Obscenum (1993). The second Hypocrisy album sees the band trimmed down from five members to four and those four are set to smash your brains out with this incredibly heavy and dark blast of Swedish death metal. The band is tighter, leaner. The riffs are crushing and the vocals are low and grim and at times high and vomiting. They arent so much borrowing from the Florida scene so much, but they arent quite full on into that Swedish death metal sound here yet either. But man, is it heavy.
