Todays bike ride was cold but refreshing. I think I would have gotten frostbite if I didnt wear full gloves and a cap under my helmet. It is 8 pm here just north of Seattle and the temperature is 28 degrees. This morning (5 am) the temp was 23 degrees. I have been getting ready for the cold weather. A month ago I bought an electric wood splitter and put it to good use. The cold weather froze the wet leaves so they were easier to rake today. After coming in from the cold I got the fireplace going and I had my famous homemade split pea soup for dinner. As for the bug I have been fighting it feels like I may be winning. - Wayne
