Todays blessing of mention turns out to also be an emergency plea - TopicsExpress

Todays blessing of mention turns out to also be an emergency plea for help. Trapper Donna trapped all over Streator and Marseilles for us in 2012 & 2013. Her health failed this year, so she was only able to trap once before we decided her lungs were too bad to trap anymore. She texted me today from Pontiac hospital begging me to take her two cats, Tad and Budda. Tad is the guy whose tail we paid to have amputated at neuter a year and a half ago. Tad tested positive for FIV. He is very sweet and friendly. Budda was a friendly that we neutered from the nasty Delmonte trailer park, and he had severe wounds to his paws. We paid for his wound treatment at Dr. Durdan, and apparently from the homemade bandage, he has another wound. He tested neg/neg at Durdan. We will pay to revaccinate and re-test Budda and have his paw looked at, again. I cannot take them in, nor can we afford to endlessly board them. Can any shelter take Budda, and any kind person take Tad? Donna has severe COPD and Emphysema and cannot keep them. She helped a boatload of cats and people , I hope we can return the kindness. I just ran over to Streator to photo them. Thanks for all you have done for the cats Donna, may you feel better.
