Todays cool morning chill Hot coffee and warm fire Summer must be leaving I can be so tied up in thought that I miss the enjoyment of the moment by moment change. Thoughts can be so tightly tangled that they are a solid knot, both the solid part and the entangled part seem to capture any light of hope, like a black hole just absorbing every clear peaceful thought. Imagine floating in clear warm water with sunlight gleaming down, The tight solid knot of thoughts floating with you, undulating in the gentle movement of the water. The tangle loosening enough that there appears space between the lines of thought. Yes there is still a tangled mess in your image, but no longer solid, you now have some spaciousness giving place for more light to stream thru, reflecting and brightening, no longer absorbed. Without the solid connecting support of each other, these thoughts alone cannot hold up against the light and the movement of the water; they begin to dissolve. More and more openness , freedom, and light reveals a vista of hope, contentment, satisfaction and even bliss. Now you are free to enjoy the moment by moment changes of life. SB
