Todays decision in resigning as a manager at Rico was a tough one. Today I realized how much the staff I worked with appreciated me. Unfortunately , I could not respond to their question whats gonna happen to us now?. The hardest part was when one of the employees grabbed my hand and said in Spanish with tears in her eyes while trying to hold me back, You cannot leave Sigi.You have been the best boss I have had, and we all like the way you manage this company. Please dont leave, do it for me, do it for us. Unfortunately, the time comes when we stop tolerating so much. The time has come for me to seek better opportunities. My parents taught me to fight for my dreams and to never give up, and one thing I know for sure is that I am not going to let them down on this one thing. So let the job hunting begin.
