Todays food for thought: I want to take this time to have a real - TopicsExpress

Todays food for thought: I want to take this time to have a real conversation with real Christians who will tell the real story. I actually woke up feeling very heavy this morning because Ive been dealing with some things and finding myself in that realm of waiting again. To add a cherry to my situation I slid into the back of another van today on the way home from dropping my kids off at school. I guess the enemy felt this was a good opportunity to fill my head with negative thoughts of fear and defeat. This was a critical moment as I got back in my car from apologizing to the woman for hitting her car. I knew the next words that came out of my mouth would impact the rest of my day. My flesh wanted desperately to let those negative thoughts come out but by the grace of God I opened my mouth and said, My God promised He would never leave me nor forsake me but He will be with me always. He will do exactly what He promised and nothing will be able to stop the manifestation of what He spoke into my spirit. I am more than a conqueror and I will receive everything He promised in His word. No weapon formed against me will ever be able to prosper! Of course I had to shout this at the top of my tonsils to drown out the negative thoughts that were pouring in like a flood, but it worked. My heaviness began to lift. There will be times when we go through things and no one knows but God and in those moments when no one is there to encourage us we must dig deep into that arsenal within us and encourage ourselves. God never told us we would not go through troubles, in fact He actually said many are the afflictions of the righteous but He will deliver us out of them ALL! This is a kick to the enemys forehead today because I will never stop being about my Fathers business no matter what Im going through!!!!! Blessings and favor to everyone who reads this!
