Todays horror story... Was in the local supermarket today and I heard a lot of children screaming..... I realised it was coming from the meat and fish section... That distasteful and stinking area I always avoid. I wondered down with a feeling of doom and there were a class of young children around 7 years of age..... They were handling large dead fish and they were screaming ewwwwwe...... They were wearing bright coloured aprons that said ..... From Farm to Fridge.... At first I thought it was some sort of vegan education... How wrong I was... The smiling teacher whom I approached for an explanation said... we are showing the children where their food comes from.... Do you know that some of them had never even seen a dead fish before ? I was stunned. I took a deep breath and said.... I am a vegan... I am very disappointed that you are not in fact showing them the HORROR of where their food comes from...... He simply said .... Oh..... I walked on kicking myself for not saying or doing more ..... Can you comprehend this?
