Todays message From reject to prospect was much needed. Thr beginning of the spring I was offered a job as an Assistant Director only to be given the run around. I was not only taking a pay cut to take the job but also adding another bill. I thought it was my sacrifice to get ahead. That God was leading me to be humbled and opening the door for additional blessings. It was something I wanted to do and an opportunity to advance. 2 months later after many phone calls I received an e-mail saying the job was filled. I was heart broken. Questioning what had I done wrong. I have been so discouraged. Then my surprise gift ( baby X) if I had started that new job they may not have been as understanding about me taking time for appointments. So it was a blessing in ways that I didnt start that new job. But it didnt make the hurt go away. I still question was I not good enough. But then Pastors sermon today from Ruth 2:1-10. From reject to prospect I understand that I have to shake it off. Continue to work and seek favor. I am walking in favor. My work is not in vain.
