Todays morning update on Lacey Messer and Ian: The drs ran another CT scan this morning and Ians brain looks better today, there is NO bleeding, he does not require any sedation to maintain good levels on all his numbers. He opened his eyes, made eye contact with his nurse and tracked her movements with his eyes. They havent yet begun to remove the ventilator, but they will begin soon. His nurse told us that he has been breathing on his own even with the ventilator, so they do not anticipate any problems with removing it today. He isnt yet responding to his doctors directions, but we are convinced that he will be doing that soon. We have an awesome God and He can do ALL things. Please please continue to hold Lacey and Ian up to God in prayer. It seems that we have turned the first corner. There are many many more things to confront, but we are definitely headed in the right direction!!! Please call or message me anytime, do not worry about disturbing us! The support we are all receiving is making our lives easier, not harder! If you get a chance, give Lacey a call. She at the hospital with Ians family (who are great people) but its not like having us down there. Thanks so much to all of you.
