Todays outing comes without photos, firstly iphone battery ran out half way through the day which seemed strange as I charged it all night, came home to recharge tonight and discovered it was not charging at all, wiggled the cord and it stopped and started, pulled it out to have a look and pulled the wires right out of it! Oh goody! Anyway, went off this morning to Stow on the Wold, another gorgeous Cotswold village, full of tiny little shops and beautiful buildings. Then onto the Slaughters, both Upper and Lower, awful name but beautiful villages, very much untouched, no shops or anything, just gorgeous cottages and one hotel/inn, where we had lunch by the river. Then off to Chipping Campden, yet another beautiful Village, misty morning again, but lovely and sunny in the afternoon, although the mist still hung over the countryside. Drove to Broadway Tower, where you are supposed to be able to see for 63 miles! Left Mum sitting by the tea house as it was a bit of an uphill slog to get there, only a ten minute or so walk, but got there and realised I had left my bag with Mum, the one with the money to pay my admission fee to the tower! Duh. Took some nice photos of the tower and surrounds anyway and realised even if I had gone up I wouldnt have got the views for the mist. Hopefully tomorrow morning is clear and I will head up there before heading back to my cousin Janets place. Have really loved these last couple of days in the Cotswolds, if you ever venture over here, they are a must see! Sarah Heide, 2015 they would look amazing in the snow!
