Todays reading: Mark 13-14 Mark 14:18-19 And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me. And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one, [Is] it I? and another [said, Is] it I? Will we be the ones who betray Jesus, giving Him up for something else? The world and its temptations are very attractive, and I must admit I myself struggle. But remember sin is only pleasure for season, but Gods pleasures are forever! :) Another thing to notice is the attitude of the disciples, Is it I? Whenever we see sin, the question to ask is, Is it I? Rather than pointing to others sins, we ought to examine our own lives before God and men. Only then, can we begin to reprove those who do wrong in Christs spirit of love and hatred for sin. Dont forget Gods Word is the festive season! Put Him first and read His Word! :)
