Todays the best day for me in ward 1. I had the best - TopicsExpress

Todays the best day for me in ward 1. I had the best therapeutic communication with my patient whos emotionally disturbed and indicative of mild postpartum psychosis. Shes in great denial that she hasnt delivered her newborn yet since she feared of undergoing Cesarian Section knowing her familys financial constraints. Shes irritable when we talked about CS. Her BP suddenly increased from 190/110 to 210/130 just minutes after giving an orientation to reality. However, though the SO gave up and told me not to divulge the truth, didto jud nako na-apply ang theracom hantod na-accept na niya nga nanganak na siya, nga gamay na iyang tiyan, nga nana siyay tahi sa tiyan, nga naa iyang ikaduhang anak (after a miscarriage of her 2nd child) and these statements struck me the most: Nacesarian na diay ko? Nya kinsa man gabayad? Sakit man akong tahi sa tiyan. Lalaki akong anak? Or babae? Okay ra siya didto? and the best part: Salamat, dong, ha? then smiled and giggled. She forcibly looked at me though she claimed her visions hazy and blurry. And another patient named her son after her student nurse. Welcome to this world, Baby Nikko. ;) I guess Id have the best ending of my RLE in college.
