Todays travels brought me to the island of Santorini. The island of Santorini is one of the top tourist destinations in the world, know as the Black pearl of the Aegean. It is surrounded by breathing views and incredible villages, consisting of narrow streets, restaurants, shops and cafes. Santorini is 29 square miles, the current island was formed from a volcano which exploded in 1628 BCE. Some of the most famous and photographed sites lay on mountain cliffs over looking the sea.
