Todays update is not exactly what I would like to post. The one side of Abbys heart is weakening since the lung damage is making her heart work much harder than normal. Her heart rate wend to around 90-100 and normally she is in the 140-150. I spoke with her doc last night and she said she talked to the doctor who is a world renound cardiologist and he suggested one enteral medication and to put her back on the nitric. She is still sedated and will be for at least the rest of the weekend but it could be longer. Today I am headed up to see her despite the fact she is sedated. It is so hard to see her like that. I posted our Christmas morning pictures up at the hospital and it was just wonderful to do that with her bug horrible that I cant just have her sitting on my lap so she could watch whole thing. Sadly enough she remained in bed while the other kids opened her gifts. She slept through her very first Christmas and that saddens me. I know most kids dont remember their first Christmas but I am the kind of mom who wants them to experience life to the fullest. I never know what I am walking into when I see her now. Im taking a change of clothes to see about spending the night with her. I really want a feel for what is going on with her fulling and I cant do that unless I am with her for a full day. I know I will be missing sleep but we will see what happens. Something has to change, we need to get her home!!! I ask you keep her in your prayers since she now has weakening of her heart, we need to get this girl situated. Im so scared for her, she is so very sick and is not the baby I know right now.
