Todays wonder - with thanks to Ed Weatherup - this is a Lysander... the plane that was used to make landed drop-offs (as opposed to parachute jumps) and pick-ups in occupied territories. In France, Henri Déricourt is said to have been a double agent, working with the Nazis, but he did it in such a way that not a single of his Lysanders was ever shot down, and every out-going plane was unmolested. The incomers - the Gestapo could watch but not touch and a good many of them got free. He was an exceptionally clever man - and the stupidity of F section is not his fault.
