Today’s Prayer, Heavenly Father as we come boldly Your throne of grace, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask You for forgiveness for all our sins as we forgive those who have sinned against us. We pray for all ADF Personnel and their families and we thank You for their salvation. Lord, Your word says, “This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of Gods people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.” 2 Corn 9:12 and we give thanks Lord for the service and dedication of all ADF Personnel this day. May 2015 see them greatly blessed and esteemed by our nation. Lord, we also pray for all the ADF Personnel and their families who will be far apart for the first time during this festive season. May Your angels bring them hope, love, joy and peace, just as You did for us all when our Saviour was born. Lord, we pray also for our SAS troops who are deployed in Iraq, we pray Your angels will go before them and keep them from harm. We thank You Father that all ADF Personnel are safe under the shadow of Your wings and that no weapon formed against them will prosper, that every evil word spoken against them will fall to the ground. We thank You they are all safe from the plots of their enemies and that Your angels surround them and protect them. In the name of Jesus Christ we bind every assignment of Satan against all present and former ADF Personnel this day and we loose the love, joy and peace of the Lord over them all. All this we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our Saviour. Amen
