Together Manchester Film Festival for CommunitiesDiary Sunday October 26th 2014, 1.15-3.30: at Moston Small Cinema Family Funday Sunday screening at The Small Cinema and Miners Community Centre in Moston Laughter session at 1pm Screening of Up at 2pm youtube/watch?v=1Y4_BivnrwM Background There are parts of our communities where people may feel left out, or marginalised, or discriminated against. We can help to change this by bringing people together, of all backgrounds and ages, to screenings of films with positive images, with chances to interact with each other. The Silver Screen European Film Festival comes to Greater Manchester. Our first step is to team up with the European Silver Screen Festival which shows films which show older people in a positive light. Ageing is something that touches everybody. Ageing doesnt have to be seen as limitations and restrictions: it also can involve new outlooks, curiosity, and opportunities. This understanding is important for people of all ages. These films will be shown throughout the year here in Greater Manchester. The Together partners for Greater Manchester.
