Tomorrow, August 19th is World Orangutan Day! Our staff have been busy preparing several activities, the first of which is a demonstration on the street with our youth volunteers in Ketapang tomorrow, with posters alerting people about the importance of orangutans and a seedling giveaway to remind them to protect the forest. Many thanks to Yayasan Palung (Gunung Palung Orangutan Conservation Program) staff and our Bornean Orangutan Caring Scholarship recipient interns, Hendri and Muhlis, who have been working hard to make this happen!
