Tomorrow I am having eye surgery to repair two rips in my right retina. probably caused by the gel shrinking inside my eye and tearing part of my retina when it did. that lets fluid get behind the retina and creates a curtain in my eyesight. A laser will be used to help hold the retina in place. A gas will replace the gel and pushes against the retina to hold it in place while it heals. and since the rip is in the back of the eye, I need to keep my head down so the gas will push on the back of the eye and not the top. Like a helium balloon wants to make the balloon go up. so should be an interesting time over the next week or however long I have to do this.
