Tomorrow I will take a vow of silence at school to peacefully protest against Katie Lynn Shefchiks termination. I ask that the supporters of Katie choose to join me in this protest any way they can, whether it being total silence or even just minimizing their verbal communication for the day. I will not sit by and watch this injustice unfold, as I hope many of you will not as well. May the overwhelming silence bring awareness to this very serious issue. For the students who choose to take part in this protest: You may speak during breaks and lunches as long as you are not within the building. You may speak if you have a guest. (To the guest, the learning leaders and service desk regarding your guest.) If a staff member/owner speaks to you or asks a question, it is under your own discretion whether you respond or not.
