Tomorrow, May 23rd, kicks off the Earthquake Lake Visitor Center re-opening weekend celebration. At 12:00 p.m. the public is invited to the welcome and ribbon-cutting ceremony, and the Visitor Center will open to the public at 1:00 p.m. The renovation includes our first YA Forest Store. On Saturday morning, join Institute staff for a fun and informative wildlife watching session. This will take place on May 24th from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at the Beaver Creek Wildlife Viewing Area on Hwy 287. Scopes and binoculars will be provided.
