Tomorrow (Wednesday) is World Maths Day. Im one of those people who feels a panic attack coming on at the sheer mention of the word math. I can balance my checkbook and keep score in bowling or pinochle. But dont go throwing algebra at me or ask me how many gallons of water it will take to fill a pyramid 30 feet tall and 25 feet square at the base. Dont even think of telling me there are two trains headed for each other... And if you give me a time limit be prepared to see me curl into the fetal position and sob. So, no, I will not be celebrating World Maths Day. One math is too many for me. Tomorrow is also Plant a Flower Day. Apparently the person who came up with this one doesnt live in Ohio. If you plant a flower tomorrow it will most likely meet its demise on Thursday. I just checked the weather channel and they are giving us a 100% chance of precipitation with a high temperature of 37 and a low of 7 on Thursday. I suggest postponing Plant a Flower Day for a while.
