Tomorrow is Veterans Day when we salute all our Veterans past and present. But we should never limit our thanks to just one day a year. WE should thank them every day. At some point in their lives they have laid down their lives for us to ensure our freedoms. Soldiers have fought in war after war to keep us free and to keep the wars from our land. We are the land of the free because of them. Every soldier that has fought in a war is wounded and carry scars. Some have paid the ultimate sacrifice of their very lives, some were wounded in different forms. But every living Soldier carries wounds that are not always visible because they carry wounds of the heart, they have fought, done and seen things we could never imagine and they will carry that wound the rest of their days. Some can talk freely and others just want to forget, but the wounds of war are imbedded in their minds. So tomorrow and every day thank a soldier, teach your children to honor and respect the flag that covers and protects us by way of the Military. Keep our troops and Veterans in your prayers daily.
