Tomorrow is an important day. If you havent already, get to your polls and VOTE. The system is broken, true, but it is NOT beyond repair. . .YOUR voice can fix it. I would like to wish the best of luck to all forward-thinking, equality-loving, worker-defending candidates in the State and local counties tomorrow. Yall ran well, and I am sure that it will pay off tomorrow. I would also like to send some love to my friends who will be on the ballot tomorrow - David Pepper, Micah Kamrass, Denise Driehaus, Marek Tyszkiewicz, Tammy Simendinger, Pater for Judge, Charlie Luken, Fanon A Rucker, Dusty Rhodes, Jerry Metz, Christie Bryant, & Patricia A. Bruns - you all ran awesome campaigns and I know it will pay off tomorrow with a WIN! Some more love goes out to the best campaign staffers & managers in the biz; these are the folks who make it happen - Scott Allison, Brooke Smith, Kevin Tighe, Pete Metz, Jared Kamrass, Alex Linser, and all those awesome volunteers I met this year. I love all of you - thanks for showing us all what civic engagement looks like. Lastly, love to those who worked so hard on getting the issues & levies in front of voters, especially Chas Wiederhold & his work on Issue 8, and Michelle Dillingham & Jens Sutmoller for working hard on behalf of CPS for Issue 1. Ok - heres to shaking up the State House - heres to shaking up D.C. - and heres to making some change!
