Tomorrow marks two weeks since Bodhis surgery. I havent updated - TopicsExpress

Tomorrow marks two weeks since Bodhis surgery. I havent updated this page mostly because its been hectic readjusting to normal life as weird as that sounds... We are so appreciative of everyone who cooked, cleaned, watched the big brother and all the other stuff while we were away and when we got home as well. And of course, for everyones kind and supportive words! If we havent gotten back to you, we apologize... I actually sat down to write an update a few times, but didnt end up completing one... Were really not ones to put that much out on social media (I may have the lamest fb page ever), but we know everyone has been thinking of us and wondering how we are... Staying at CHOP was one of those experiences that if you are open to it, will change your life indefinitely. In theory, a skull surgery seems like a pretty serious surgery, but we were probably the least critical case in the pediatric intensive care unit we were in (there are 3). Modern medicine, I believe, makes people take the miracles doctors and nurses perform on a daily basis for granted. We were very relieved when we got the go ahead to come home and continue our recovery here. Its amazing how quickly Bodhis head shape has changed. Ill try to post before and after pictures... But for now, I have a video, which I just happened to catch one of Bodhis firsts in.... His first laughs. You can all see for yourself, all is well!
