Tomorrow my husband of 41 plus years moves into the home. Huntingtons disease has progressed in his brain cells to Stage 7, the last stage of the disease. Jim has been asking throughout the summer to go into the home and now he gets his wish. He wants to go into the Wolseley Nursing Home and is happy to be going there. Both Jim and I are missing each other and we are both learning to be alone. Dear friends and relatives do try to visit him--he loves visiting and if you have trouble understanding him just say pardon or re-word your question. His thought process takes a while to formulate a sentence or a thought. And he loves soft baking and soft chocolate bars, or a piece of pie. He cannot have dry crunchy food as he may choke easily on this type of food. Thank-you everyone for visiting and giving empathy to him. Huntingtons disease is taking our Jim.
