Tomorrow night (Thursday March 20, there is a great clarinet concert at the Gorham UCC. This group plays instruments made of endangered wood in order to raise money to save rare tropical trees. Starts at 7:30. Next Friday night, March 28, A vigil to urge repeal of the death penalty in NH will take place at the pedestrian bridge across the river in Berlin. Bring a candle or lantern, or pick one up there. The march will go from the downtown side of the river to the prison side of the river. This is especially relevant for us in the Berlin area because if the death penalty persists, they will most likely be building the death chamber here in Berlin. When I think about how I will feel if someday a person is being intentionally killed right in my town, Im aghast.
