***Tomorrow night is the night of my Great Gatsby Event for Action Against Hunger at Revolution Lancaster :D . Just a few important facts about the charity and where your money will be going to. Action Against Hunger is an international humanitarian organization that intends to end world hunger. They do this by proving families with access to safe water, good nutrition and sustainable solutions to hunger. They also intend to eradicate child malnutrition by sending a product called PlumpyNut which is a Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food to countries where children suffer from malnutrition. This food provides calories and essential nutrients that restore and maintain body weight and health. Action Against Hunger work in 3 main areas which include responding to emergency situations of wars and conflict, natural disasters and famine. Your money will also be spent on sanitation and hygiene, healthcare and advocacy. Action Against Hunger has helped over 40 countries worldwide thus far including countries devastated by the 2004 Tsunami, famine stricken communities in Uganda and Afghan refugees in Pakistan. The charity even has a humanitarian award which has been presented to some of the worlds most influential figures including Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu! One of Action Against Hungers most important missions at the moment, is to help the South Sudan Crisis. Please, please come and support this amazing charity by turning back the time to the roaring 1920s tomorrow night where there will be performances from Lancaster University Glee Club, LUDanS - Lancaster University Dance Society , Rosa Hinksman and DJ Guests Neil Jackson & Jack Sprigg where they will be playing R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, Chart and Jazz music! There will also be photography from Forever Photobooths who will be providing some fun 1920s props and there will also be some fabulous drinks offers on at the bars including £1 shots! Entry is £5 and the event starts at 9pm! You can also still buy tickets from Revs bar or you can pay on the night!
