Tomorrow night its happening. Ill be playing at the little bar that could, Le Bleury-Bar à Vinyle, with the esteemed Francis Oak at his GO ROUND night (https://facebook/events/1476356495964710/). 2109 Le Bleury has a special place in my heart. Back in 1999, when I first moved here, Luba Lounge as it used to be known, was one of the first places I went to discover Montreals nightlife. I happened to take my beautiful wife, Angele Lapointe, there on our first date. Fast forward a few years when the spot became known as Vinyl. As a young DJ just cutting his teeth I entered a mixing competition there and ended up placing #3 out of 30 (house was my bag and hip hop ruled there back in the day). And now Im so very happy to finally be playing at a joint that Ive known and loved for so long, a place rejuvenated and pushed into prominence these last couple of years by the passionate and tireless couple, Seb Fauteux and Christel Roussy, as well as my main man (behind and in front of the scenes), Alfred Borden. These are my people.
