Tomorrow we have elections after church. Here are the given positions and guidelines to follow. Leader Not only does the leader address all issues, but he/she must adhere with the treasurer, organizing committee, and outreach committee. The Leader of the MYO puts the community before himself. The free flow of ideas in this organization is dire for healthy decision making as the leader looks over and makes sure each wheel of the group is moving diligently. Before the planning of an event starts, the leader will address certain responsibilities to the other elected positions or members within the group. The leader must not only commence issues that are within the group, but is willing to work hand-in-hand with other members of our committee to make successful our functions, events, fundraisers, etc. But remember, he/she is empathetic with the members of the group and its entirety under Father Eli’s blessing and through virtue. Treasurer With the use of efficient algorithms, the treasurer must be able to calculate the logistics of our functions, in social and communal gatherings. No penny is to be spent unless the Treasurer writes it down in his/her notebook. The Treasurer must be effective in finding the best way to spend and to save. Organizing Committee (ORC) ORC is responsible for the context of everything we discuss. They must be effective in finding ways to implement our ideas, coordinating with all the other members. - ORC Coordinator: He/she is responsible to keep the momentum of planning under control and disciplined to assist the Scribe and Role Assigner do their jobs. - Scribe: At every meeting, the scribe must type out our key points. They must be able to send them to every member of our group. - Role Assigner: During certain events, he/she must be able to give members of our group their roles in our projects. They must be effective in keeping everyone in task. Outreach Committee (OTC) OTC is the voice of our group, inside and outside of it. They are responsible for constantly reminding members of upcoming events. Also, they are the medium between us, our Church, along with Father Eli, Deacon Elias, and parents, and outside of our Church. Remember, our words and actions are immortal to others. Publicity, with sponsorships and volunteering, is sometimes the most powerful key to help others. Each member should be assigned a specialized task or project, creating easier ways to raise our members’ awareness along with everyone else around us! They must be creative and approachable, willing to communicate formally. They must be responsible for texting our members, making events on Facebook, and maximizing our roster. It is an important task that requires heavy collaboration with the Organizing Committee and Leader. -three members.
