Toms update: moved from 6th floor down to 4th. floor. Which I liked because of all the patients in isolation on his wing upstairs. Still making their determinations on what he should go home with. Oxygen all the time or as it is looking just on a p.r.n. basis. After reading some info on a COPD website weve seen that the flying was not the best way of traveling for COPDers unless they DO have oxygen which we did not have @ that time. The cold or virus he had with the fever combined with the flying is what we feel sent him into that night of suffocation & so we feel we can definately NEVER have that happen again !!! To Our God be the Glory for the things he has done !!!!
