Tonight ABC 7.30 report WA will run a story on the controversial issue of Fenthion - an organophosphate insecticide - which has been under review by the APVMA since 1994 with the Australian regulator declaring a decision to ban this chemical for use on food crops in Oct 2013 - in line with regulatory action taken in the EU, US, Canada and New Zealand to protect public health especially children 1-6 years of age....albeit many years later.
