Tonight Clint is talking and answering some various questions. - TopicsExpress

Tonight Clint is talking and answering some various questions. He is showing aggravation and even aggression at times, but is pretty subdued most of the time. Hes discovered that, with his new found dexterity, hes able to grab onto things and try to remove them. While excited for his physical and mental comeback, family and staff have to continually monitor him at each side of his bed. His Heuett grit is showing by being determined to remove his new skull cap bandage. And dad Mark and brother Josh are right beside him saying, No Clint, you cant take that off, while at the same time working to restrain his arms and hands. Hes a strong young man. His understanding is returning. Family and friend recognition, at times, is pretty emotional and gratifying. He is truly OUR community Miracle. Weve been there with him in thoughts and prayers for the past 26 days. Friends, family and strangers have been caught up in this since day one. Weve witnessed the skill of doctors, nurses and medicines. Weve been teary-eyed and have had lumps in our throats for hours. And weve witnessed Gods blessings by giving us and showing us one of His miracles. Today they downgraded Clints condition for the first time from critical to serious. As we watch him progress toward complete and total healing, I have to pause and sneak in a bold, lump in my throat, watery eyed, Hallelujah. Tomorrow at 8:30 a.m., they will transfer Clint via ambulance to the NICH rehabilitation clinic in Post Falls. I will continue to post his condition updates as I receive them from Mark. And as time permits, I will travel to Post Falls. Thank each one of you for your constant vigil of prayers and positive thoughts. It has gone on around the world nonstop, 24 hours a day since that Sunday afternoon tragedy that almost took our buddy.
