Tonight I am a little numb. Trying to digest emotions. Tonight many people attended a very emotional charged funeral for an amazing human being. And as I looked at our friend paying my respects, all of a sudden it became clear that we think is US. Our bodies, are not. We are but PURE SPIRIT occupying a temporary vessel. How amazingly naïve we are thinking that what we see with our eyes is real. What is real? Memories are real. Emotions are real. Tonight I saw a husband pouring his broken heart out expressing his longing and gratitude for the LOVE he shared. It broke my heart. Tonight for the first time in many years I felt the longing for a love like that. True and strong. Tonight I watched kids saying goodbye to their mother. Sisters, Mothers, brother and friends. It reminded me how precious life is and how we should enjoy every minute in this Earth. We are truly spiritual beings having a temporary human experience. Why do we waste our lives feeling separation from one another? WE are all connected. Tonight I prayed for God to remove any uneasy feelings towards anyone I may be holding grudges. And tonight I want to ask for forgiveness to anyone I may have injured. Tonight is a night of reflection for me, and of confirmation about how beautiful a life well lived can be.
