Tonight I found myself modifying my normal behavior and reaction to appear non threatening to the Caucasian culture. The slightest facial expression is dissected to the advantage of false interpretation and beliefs. At fifty am I still looked down and dehumanized because of the color of my skin? Even in the year 2014 . The answer is yes. I have very little filter left and no tolerance for stupidity. Not this time around. Purgatory is the servitude of the superfluous.
