Tonight I met a man that not only laughed and joked in front of me, got angry and loud in front of me but cried in front of me. Cried because he felt lost and unloved and alone. Drinking his sorrows away. I felt like I was in my own Toby Keith song with a lonely patron in a bar. In all honesty though it affected me more than I thought because I thought about this man my entire drive home. Just about his life. Sometimes you have to put yourself in someone elses shoes to understand humanity. And though I dont understand or agree with the way he lives his life. Or the way he deals with pain, my heart is with him tonight. No one should let themselves go over a break up of a significant other. Weve all been there Im sure. And you feel youre never going to wake up from your nightmare... Well, wake up! Youre still alive and your heart is still beating the same. Dont torture yourself and force yourself to become the person youre not. It hurts to know that people truly believe they are all alone in the world after a break up. Buh. Rant for the night.
