Tonight I pointed out the fan base down in Tampa regarding to the Rays. History has proven it and even one of the Rays players called them out. How about getting them to Ft.Worth as an N.L. team? First the DFW is a sports crazed sports town; no denying that. The Rays would do well in this area. With the Rangers competing, the Astros who holds MB best farm system and I see them becoming a competing team in a few years. Just think of an MLB team already contenders joining the already contenders in this area. Talking about some playoff intensity around this area. Think of the exposure that the City of Ft.Worth would get. The added jobs and plus with the huge baseball fan base here while the Rangers are out of town. You still could attend a professional baseball game and enjoy what you do out in Arlington. Yet even with the lack of public transportation into Arlington. Ft.Worth could handle it. Yet like the Yankees and Mets have the Subway Series we could have the I-30 Highway Series. Can you just imagine the state of Texas possibly having 3 playoff teams must less two let alone within 30 mins of each other? Yes I expect the Rangers fan base be loyal to the Texas Rangers, but how about routing for a N.L. playoff team as well? I know this is a pipedream but great for entertaining.
